I have been in touch with Mary Adelaide Carkhuff Mikrut and daughter Patricia Mikrut Conklin of New Jersey. Mary is the dau of Lorenzo Washington Carkhuff Jr. Lorenzo was married to Maude Opie and is part of the OPIE Book on their family history. As for the Quick family I go no further back than Jacob (b) abt 1730. I show no other info except his child Catherine (b) abt 1752 who married Gabriel Carkhuff. Gabriel is my 4th Great Grandfather. I have no tracking on your side of the family tree.
My Grandfather was Judson Adrian Carkhuff (1858-1948) (m) Emma Louise Schomp (1866-1946). They had 7 children. John Dolliver Carkhuff (1906-1974) was my father. Judson's father was John Dalley Carkhuff (1829-1863) (m) Whilhelmia Van Arsdale (1831-1909). Three Children with 2 surviving -
Josephine Carkhuff and my grandfather Judson Adrian Carkhuff.
