April 12 1754 m. Mary McGowen)died Abbeville SC 1826. His son: William C Carithers (b.SC Oct 7 1788 m. MaryAnn Griffith Madison Co Ga. @1812) d. Mad Co GA d. May 27 1855)His youngest son: ROBERT B.Abbeville SC Mar 29 1800 m. Hannah Parks(b. Ga)..and lived in Chickasaw CO. Mississippi..I believe that Robert died in Ms and had sons who fought in the Civil war. Mary McGowen lived with Robert until her death @1844...and is buried there.
