I had wondered what the chances are of finding any records in Ireland. According to the story passed on to me, our Carey ancestor was the son of a tailor in Dublin who delivered clothing and was shanghaied prior to the revolutionary war. He supposedly married the daughter of Capt. Grant (an American). Does this sound plausible? Notify Administrator about this message?
