I've posted on here before with little result, but will try again. Jacob Carey & Esther (wife) show up in Westm'd. Co. in the 1820 census. (Jacob's possible first name - John) Esther died in 1833, then Jacob married Barbara Armel. Jacob had 5 children with each wife. I have never been able to find his parents or where he came from, though an old history mentions from the N.E. area. Death certs. of some of his children list born in Penna. In looking over the list of 12 children, I noticed I have info on all but Rachel, born in 1824 (1st wife) I feel strongly she married someone in Westm'd. Co, but have never found out who the man was. The Careys have been in Westm'd. Co. since that time and are intermarried to many of the old families there. Could anyone be of any help with any of this? I would deeply appreciate any help to advance my 'tree'. I would be more than happy to share my info with anyone interested.
