Hi, I have Careys' in Philadelphia. In fact, I have a Matilda Carey as an older sister of my g-grandfather, Thomas Albert Carey. The mother of both of the two previous was an Alice Carey. She died in 1905 and is buried in New Cathedral Cemetery in Philly. I am going to my FHC this morning to view a film on death records- the one containg Alice Carey. I am trying to find her maiden name. I know she was born in 1831 in Ireland and came to the US in 1845-per 1900 Census Record. Anthing thing else is unknown.
