Seeking information on Patrick Carey b 1834 in Ireland. He was my g g granddad and was sent to Van Demiens Land about 1850 where he married fellow concvict Margaret O'Brien b 1825 from Ireland. they had8 children he died in Launceston Tasmania 1871 and is a man of mystery that I would like to know about. I can't seem to find information on him in Ireland so I do not know where he came from in Ireland or anything about his parents or if he had siblings and would love to know.
