Hope you find this Frances.

Looking forward to the family listing you have for Charlotte Carey on the 1865 KS census. Hoping the household on the 1865 KS census will connect her with the Carey/Cary family group I found below.

Although her death certificate states William Cary is her father, I believe his name was Newton Carey/Cary. Maybe it was William Newton Carey??? Charlotte's daughter Emma Johnson is the one that gave the info and Emma names one of her sons Claud Newton Johnson.

I also believe the year of birth (1843) on the death certificate is wrong. Based on the census records 1845/1846 seems closer. 1846 is what I have on the copy of the old Joiner family Bible.

Do any of these siblings names match your 1865 KS census listing?? On my copy of the old Joiner family list; siblings of Charlotte are Jennie (Virginia), Lydia & William. These are the only names listed but there were probably more.

Hope someone can shed some light on this family group,
Marsha
