Does anyone have any information on Edward Cary or Carey who died 1663 in Westmoreland Co VA according to his will, and who had a brother Christopher Cary or Carey?
This Edward bought land in Stafford Co VA with my ancestor John Axton, and in fact John is mentioned in the will.
Later this land became the object of a legal dispute in Stafford Co VA. I have transcribed the court records on my own website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bettysboneyard/index.html
Any comments or help appreciated. I have not been able to trace this branch of the Carey/Cary family in VA.
