William (born 1900 in Brooklyn) may be my grandfather. His name was William Howard Carey, his wife was Anna Palaspo. I know that his family was from Cork, and they lived in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, his children weren't real good about keeping in touch with each other, and they wound up spread around. My father, Thomas Francis Carey, lives in Brea, CA. I know one of his sisters, Gladys, lived in PA (Ashland?), but some stayed in Brooklyn. I remember Agnes, Patsy, Nana, Duckie (don't know her real name, and Nana was probably a nickname, too), James, John, William. My parents were divorced when I was a baby, so I didn't get the chance to know Dad's family better. I know he married my mother, Patricia Langone, in 1957 in Brooklyn. I was born in 1958, my brother John Louis Francis in 1959. Dad married Carol Hunt in the mid 1960's, still in Brooklyn, I think. They later moved to Seattle, back to Brooklyn, then to southern CA in the early 1970's. Children Stacy, Mary, Catherine, Veronica and Amber. Several grandchildren.
Would love to get to know some of my Carey cousins.
