I am looking for information on the parents of Maria J. or Jane Carey. she was born in 1918 in CT, probably Middletown. She had a brother named Sylvester. She married Charles Ashton on 1 AUG 1840 in Middletown. Charles was born in 1818 in London, England. They had four children, Arthur, Ellen, John, and Harriet.
