Our Almeron (this name has different spellings) Carey was born c1809 in New York. He migrated to Illinois about 1830. In 1842 married (1) Mary Ann Jewell. Their children were Moses, Lucretia, Louisa and Francis. The children from his second marriage to Sarah Clark included: Mary Elizabeth (my great, great grandmother), Martha E. and John W. Almaren died bet. 1860-1870 in Fulton Co., IL. This is the extent of the info we have on this family. Does anyone know Almeron's ancestry? We would very much appreciate whatever is available out there.
