Genealogy researching my 2nd.-Great-Grandparents-1st.Lt. BENJAMIN VAN "B.V." CAREY & wife HARRIET"HATTI"(NIXON)CAREY. Benjamin served in the Union army in the civil war between 1861-1865 in the Ohio Vol. Inf. and the Illinois Vol.Inf.looking for any information on him in Highland County,Ohio and in Macoupin,& Crawford Counties,Illinois.(1838-1926)and any information on Harriet in Washington County,Ohio and in Macoupin & Crawford Counties,Illinois (1844-1905).Would appreciate any information on the CAREY-NIXON families.
