Phebe J. Carey, b. abt 1837, m. Charles S. Brown abt 1855 . They lived in K'zoo Co., MI, homesteaded in Nebraska abt. 1880. We assume Phebe d. by 1899 as Charles went back to MI and re-married. Census lists indicate Phebe was born in Michigan. Who were her parents? What county of Michigan was she from? Help!
