I am looking for information on Manoel Cardoza and his sons Joseph and James. James died on 27 August 1898 at US Military Hospital in Manila of typhoid fever. He was the fifth youngest son of Manoel and grandson of Isabella Letham of Auckland NZ. Family resided in Alameda County.
Joseph died at San Francisco on May 6 (no year available)aged 31. Researching the Letham family and am trying to make a connection.
Any help would be much appreciated.
