My father, Don Juan Cardoza, was a taveling stage magician based in Houston, Texas in the 1940's. He disappeared in 1949 in Baltimore when I was 18 months old. My birth certificate says he was born in Mexico, but someone who worked for him told me he was raised in Alsace, France and didin't read Spanish. A photo I have of him shows him to be probably 40-50 years old in 1947. My mother, Delores Shannon, disappeared shortly afterward. I'm seeking any info on anyone who may be related or know anything about my family.
