Moira,

What I have found out of my branch and leads me to conclude that my branch came from Spain somtime in the early part of the 1800's.The were leaving the terror of Nalolian or somthing like that.The landed in the north eastern Part of Mexico.They looked like tall spaniards 6 feet and taller thier females were typical european looks.As hostory tells of this brach, they were friends and co workers to Pancho Villa.You wont find thatin history books but I think as I recallmy 84 year old uncle telling me that one of my granfaters uncle is pictured wiht Pancho Villa and his horse.AS far as I know the brach is one of the first (Cardoza) brachces in America.
