JAMES CARDIN - Perry Co, AL 1830

I've asked this question on the CARDEN-List @ Rootsweb, so I thought I'd also post it here.

-- Does anyone on the list know (or guess) who the JAMES CARDIN - of the Perry Co, AL 1830 census
might've been...or his family ?
Males: 1,2,1,1,1,0,1,0,0,0
Females : 0,0,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,0
This looks like a man & wife of about the same age range- bet. 40 - 50 - livingw/ 6 other people
- all males - ranging in ages from: onfiltered=0-5; two =5-10; onfiltered=10-15; onfiltered=15-20; onfiltered=20-30.
Another possibile scenario could be - two older parents, a son (or brother of one of them)
bet.20-30 w/ no wife & 3 young children. The one male 15-20 could be another son of the older couple...or
a nephew (?) helping work the farm.
Neighbors on either side in this census were -surnames: (before)- Denton, Mitchell, Little,
Green (Graves?); (after) - Chambers, Loyd, Martin, Autry
My JAMES CARDEN (1790 - bet.1821-1829) was dead by this time.His two children - Harvey (age 9) &
Stacey (age 13)- were adopted in Orphan's Court by their maternal grandparents (LYON) in Shelby
Co, ALearly in Jan. of 1830.
