We are stationed at Ft. Polk, La.
My grandfather (son of Andrew) lived
in Colquit,Ga. I have been trying to
connect William "Bill" Cardin (my
grandfather) to your J.L. Bell.
I have a story that my Aunts told me
of why the name changed from "Cardin"
to "Bell" should you like to hear it
sometime. My mother and her sisters
remember their daddy talking about him
and was very fond of him. Also he had a
farm next to theirs at one point. More
