Hi Bobbie! Here is the strange thing about Ameer.
This is found in Ancestry.com. I thought it had
to be a typo.
My mother is the great-granddaughter of Andrew C.
Cardin. And she also said that it was Amos like
I thought it was and now you are also agreeing
that it was. What could have happened was, the
writing wasn't so good on these census' as you
probably know, so it could have looked like Ameer.
Now that we have that prob settled, lol, have you
been able to find out where this line of Cardins
originated from? I have heard Ireland and I have
heard France. If you can help point me in the
right direction, I sure would appreciate it!!
And thank you again for your help with "Ameer".
I knew it couldn't be right.
Thank you again!!
Debra
