I am interested in your William Cardiff Kilmon. My ggggrandfather was William Cardiff b. 13Mar1792, in Dorchester County, MD. Talbot and Dorchester County abut each other and county lines moved several times early in the history. I am looking for William's parents and siblings. I have his birthdate off his gravemarker and that he joined the Maryland Company of Captn. Stephen Redding in 1812 and served in the Battle of New Orleans. I lose track of him until he gets married in 1830 in Franklin County, OH. From then on, I know a lot about his whereabouts, activities, and family.

Have you been able to find out anything about the Cardiff's of Maryland?
