Cardiff Revolutionary War?

Hi, group,

I have information that Miles Cardiff was a Revolutionary War Pensioner in early 1800s in Virginia. It definitely says Revolutionary War. To be a pensioner, you had to be pretty handicapped, I read.

Sjana Barcroft-Hundt of Springfield, OR wrote me to say that her Miles Cardiff died 18 Sept 1879 at age 83 (i.e., born 1796) in California via Ireland? This might make him a War of 1812 pensioner?

Anyone with info on Miles Cardiff roots to Revolutionary War, I would greatly like to hear.

Pat Cardiff
