If you go to brsgeneaology.com and become a member. It doesn't cost you anything to join. Click on the map, click on the county kildare. You will be able to search by parish. You should be able to search for Laurence and hus family in Allen parish without any problems. I think there is a charge if you want to access the electronic copy of the records, but searching the index is free. There is a Laurence born in 1864 in Allen on this site. But remember that the spelling might be lawrence on the records.
You should have the dates of birth for the children in the 1911 census. Use the age for the eldest to calculate the marraige date. (one or two years before the first child is born is a good guess) Marriages from 1865 are kept in the General Registers Office. If you get the marraige you should get the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where they were living at the time of the marraige.
That will let you trace back another generation.
