Hello Norman,
Happy New Year!
I have been continuing to do reseach into my family and found an old address book with Mary & Angus Martins address in NYC. Can't put my finger on it @ just this moment. But there it was the address where we use to go when I was just a small child in the 60's.
Also have been intouch with another cousin of ours, who is a decendent of Edmond or Edward (he started out as the first and then changed it to the later). Edward would have been a brother of Ambrose and Mary.
Edward's decendent is Wm. (Bill) Cardiff and I have been in contact by phone & e-mail. He sent me the other day an old photo of a team of men from a tug of war in Stellarton. His Grt. Grandfather Edmond was in the photo and so was Angus Martin. The photo was a copy of a newspaper clipping so it was hard to make out too many details, except that Angus stood out since he was so much taller than all the other men in the photo.
Norman I would like if we could perhaps talk on the phone at some point, if that is possible let me know.
I have greatly enjoyed talking to Bill & he has helped to fill in some of the missing info. And hope that we would have the some of the same results.
