Thank you for your reply.
Our brach is very small, Grace Mildred Hubbard Cardew died of cancer 23.11.1932 leaving only one son, Michael Hubbard Scott b. 24 May 1921 (he is still alive.) Michael married Jean Boddy and had one daughter - me -Ann Cardew Scott.
I did know about Richard Bethell and found the whole of the family in Burkes Peerage - v.interesting.
What is Family Tree Maker? and is it possible for me to view it? I would love to see your photographs - I have none as my grandfather Norman Scott remarried and seemed to have no contact with the family. My father does not know anything of his uncles or cousins other than he thinks that Grace's brother John went to Sri Lanka, something to do with tea planting. He did not even know of Grace's other brother Christopher Baldock b.1898 He also has no memories of his Grandparents ( he is just as hazy on the Scott side of my family so you can imagine my frustration, and my pleasure at finding other family mambers!)
