A descendent of Cornelius Cardew (1747) had 4 children by Elizabeth Brutton (d 1777), and 9 children by Mary Lukey Warren. First child of Elizabeth was John Haydon Cardew. JHC married Anne Pollett (m 1798) had 13 children. First child - Cornelius Cardew (b 1799). Cornelius married Martha Masters (m 1819). Had 7 children. First son named John Haydon Cardew (b 1823- Noakhali,Bengal), married Teressa Torr - 7 children. First son Cornelius Edward, second John Haydon Cardew (1852). Latter married Clarissa Reynell Gresson had 7 children. Second marraige to Getrude Marion Steel (marr 1896) - had 2 children of which Cornelius Ambrose was first. Hope that provides a useful start. This Cardew branch is extensive and relatives are spread across the world.
