I actually have the 1881 census discs so I already had this but thanks for the thought.

I have identified Caroline's maiden name and found maarriage it's going back on Thomas that is proving difficult.
I have some Cardews and Pomberes (an aka Cardew) going way back but finding a link is hard.
I have been told that the Cardews were French in origin but dates are not known so almost impossibe to trace/know where to look.
