Hi! Does Joshua have a brother named William? They lived next to each other in Indiana mid 1800's. I have info that William and Joshua may have been brothers. They were of the same average age. William was born 1808 and married Eli (Alice) Boyd from TN. His Dad was supposed to be George, but all I find is that Abbot Carder (1770-1843) had two sons from his first wife unknown and when he remarried and stayed in VA, an Uncle(his bro) brought his first two sons to Ohio. Their names were William and Armstead. It makes some sense that my William who may be Joshua's bro really isnt, but was raised by Father George(bro of Abbot) as his son along side of Joshua(blood son). Does anyone have any information along these lines? Thanks! Marsha
