Searching for information about my great grandfather Jose L. CARDENAS. I believe his father's was Felix CARDENAS and his mother Senovia/Senobia LOPEZ. He lived for some time in Questa and Taos New Mexico as well as the San Luis valley of Colorado. He was married 23 Sept 1899 in Penasco, NM to Victoria PAYNE and had the following children: Luesita, Amalia, Josefina, Ernesto, Carlotta & Rosita. Most of his children with Victoria lived in the San Luis area. He also had two other sons, Frank & Delfino. Jose was born 24 Aug 1878 and died 29 July or Aug 1955. Family members indicate he is buried in Questa, NM. If you can be of help please contact me. It would be greatly appreciated.
