Lost Carden, O.H.R.?

I've been searching for my lost O.H.R. or Owen N.K.Carden for over two years, and he's still an orphan!!

Can anyone help me find his parents?

He was born in 1820 in Ga. He bought land from Andrew Jackson Carden, in 1837 in Pike Co. Ga. He was married to Nancy McLeod in 1843 in Pike Co. Ga., and they were listed in the 1850 census for Pike Co. Ga.

They left Ga., sometime, between 1855, and 1860, I believe. I think they were in Tallapoosa Co. Al.

He served with Hillard's Legion during the Civil War, and he enlisted at Pinckneyville, Al. on April 1862, and he died in July 1862, in Atlanta, not in a battle, but from illness!

Nancy was then listed in the 1870 census for Randolph Co. Al., and in 1880 for Chambers Co. Al.

Their children were:

Sarah
Margaret
Mary Jane
Nancy
Amanda
Norman
Alexander
Owen Hendrix, my GGrandfather born in 1862 in Tallapoosa, Co. Al.

If anyone can solve this mystery, and find my O.H.R.'s parents, I would greatly appreciate it. He's been an orphan too long!!

Thank you, Becky Carden, rec@hiwaay.net
