Thanks for responding. I am new to Carden research. I suspect she may be the daughter of Nettie Caroline Broom and Leonard Carden born August 9, 1814, who was the son of Larkin Carden and Elizabeth Sentelle. Martha Carden Cook is buried at Eleazor Cemetery near Mt. Vernon in Monroe Co. That is where her bith date came from as far as I know. I got the information on the marriage of James Ambers Washington Cook to Martha Carden from the Monroe County Family Heritage Book on an article about James Ambers Washington Cook. Evidently the family has not found a marriage date because they guess they were married by 1860 My grandmother Martha Elizabeth Cook was born near Mount Vernon. Her grandfather Wilson D. Peeler is also buried at Eleazor Cemetery.
Any help would be appreciated.
