Thanks for your answer, Norma. The CARDEN and YORK families were very close together in the Polk 1860 census. The YORKs were Family 405, and the CARDENs were Family 408. I'm not sure which Rachel you're talking about, since I don't see a Rachel listed with the CARDENs in 1860. I have a Rachel LEE YORK who was the mother of Barbara FELKER YORK's husband, but I don't think you mean her. I don't know of any connection of the YORK family with Murray Co., GA, but I guess there could be a FELKER connection. I'll pass this on to some of the descendants of Barbara and her husband, Pleasant YORK.
