Hi Betty, I think your Vardy Carden is a younger brother of my John Berry Carden who is also a son of Jordan Cardin and Hettie Watson. I have him listed as Vardaman C. (Vardy) Carden born about 1818 in Choctaw Co. MS. Married to Mary Pauline (Pollie) no last name. I only had one of his children (John William) listed so your list was helpful. Thanks Faye
