Vardy Cardin/Carden is a descendent of my husband's side of the Cardin/Carden family. Please notice that I use both Cardin and Carden for the name....the same family uses Cardin if the family lives west of the Mississippi river and Carden if they live east of the Mississippi River. My husand and I visited all of the Cardin in that area a few years before his death in 2007 and visited some very nice people. I have a book (and have a book and have had the book) ready on the family for publication for quite a few years but with my husand's illness and our age it hasn't gotten very close of publication. One interesting fact is that our immedicate family has had the name Vardy/Vardaman, etc. in the family for many, many years...in fact one of our sons are named Vardy (Vardaman). I would be glad to share information if you can ask me definite questions. Bobbie Cardin in Louisiana.
