I have also checked this out and found the documented
marriage license and it's "spot on".
Amos S.P. Cardin married Margaret N. Taylor
21-July-1842 in Monroe,Tennessee.
I can email you a copy of the marriage license
if you would like.
This is my line of Cardens/Cardins because it
also matches each son down to my grandfather.
I could never find a match for Tabitha Peace.
As to where Amos is buried, I'm still looking.
I have a pretty good idea where, but I, like
yourself, want documented proof.
If I should find it before you, I'll be sure to
send it to you.
This is the hardest family to trace..lol..
