Hi Bobbie I hope you are doing well. I am very sorry for you loss. I am still looking for Sarah's death date and where she is buried. I think the census record you were talking about when she was married to a Williams was the same one I found but I am not sure. The one I found was hard to read but it looked like William Williams but I thought that was strange. Her mother was listed a few houses up from her. Does anyone have the proof of Leonard and his wife and their parents? I have see the names listed but I haven't found anyone listing how they know that for sure. Do we know what town Leonard and his family lived in in Monroe County? I have found some land records of Cardens in Alabama so there must have been quite a few of them moved from Tennessee to Alabama. I wish I had been interested in all of this when my grandmother, Sarah's daughter son Bob were still living. I visited Bob's home quite a bit when I was young and I probably was very near where Sarah and Richard lived. My dad is 88 and he comes up with a few things but they are just a little here and there. Sarah was probably already dead when he was born in 1919. He remembers Richard's second wife Kissie. I really appreciate everyone's help. This family has been a road block for me for years.
