Asa Cardin is thought to be the family listed on the 1860 Talladega County Alabama census as: Cardine,A, age 36,
J.,wife age 22, C, age 5, J.,age 3 and A age 6mo. Asa Cardin married Susan J. Winkles February 22, 1855 in Talladega County Alabama. You might follow the family thru on the 1870 census to see other names of children. Note; on most of the 1860 census only initials was given. Please send me more information on your Cardin family. I will look thru my records and see what I have. I am also doing some research on a Cardin family of Talladega County Alabama. Bobbie in Louisiana
