Dear Karla,
Would you happen to know about a Nancy Cardell, possibly born in PA, married Simon Miller in Dec. 1799? The marriage could have taken place in TN as that is where Simon Miller was born. From there they went to KY, and settled in Muhlenberg County. Nancy Ann is buried in the Scott Cemetery in Muhlenberg Co.,and she died July 16, 1851. As you pointed out in your posting, the name could be McCardle. There was a Philip McCardle in TN who had a daughter named Nancy, but we have not been able to prove that he is our Nancy's father. I would appreciate any information you can give me.
Thanks so much,
Margaret Mitchell
