Looking for information on Cardell's in Warren, Vermont:
John Cardell Jr. was the son of John Cardell and Adaline Fuller. I think John Jr.'s father, John, was married once before, possibly to a Polly?, before Adaline.
John Cardell Jr. m. Sarah Ann Smalley 3/8/1860 at Brookfield, VT (Sarah's father is listed as Barna Smalley). This record says this is John's second marriage and Sarah's first. I found John in the Warren, Vermont Census (before 1860) and it shows that he was married to a Lucy (someone)--don't have her last name. They had a son, Daniel B. Cardell.
John Cardell and Sarah Ann Smalley had three children: Hattie m. William Ferneau, Frank m. Mabel Ferneau (one daughter Alice m. Cardell), and Alton died very young, as an infant or toddler.
There are other Cardell's listed in the Vermont Census (some possibly originally from Connecticut) but I do not know how they are related.
I am wondering if anyone has a connection to this family or would have any additional information on them.
