Janet, The obit that you have for Rose Carbone, is of my great-grandmother. I found among my papers a census from Kane, Pa taken in 1910 of Angelo Carbone, my great-grandfather, his wife Rose, my grandfather Rocco, his brother Angelo, someone named Tony (says cousin) and a Raffaele, age 26, born in Italy, arrived 1909, again also says cousin, along with a Frank Palumbo and Pasquale Scutelli. In the one obit I have of my great-grandmother Rose, the name Ralph Comande appears. So if this is your Ralph Comande, maybe he did at one time stay with my great-grandparents. Let me know what you think.
Lena
