Im looking for info about Fred Wallace Carbine Sr., born July 21, 1885 in Illinois, as too were his parents (names?). He had a son in 1911, Fred Jr. (born in CA) from his first marriage to a woman named Simon. I'm more interested in his second marriage to a Esther (Gerring) Carbine, born in PA, Oct 21, 1890. In 1920 they gave up for adoption, their newborn baby girl Dolores Esther Carbine - my grandmother, who I knew as Elizabeth Childs Beaty.. My grandfather just received her birth cert. and it names Carbines. I discovered that Esther was the dau. of Russian emmigrants. I noticed that Fred Sr. died in 1973 in San Mateo, CA and Esther died in 1969 in Santa Clara, Ca. Being that I too live in this area, I'm rather sorry to have found them too late. Fred Carbine Jr. died 1992 in Fresno, CA My grandmother "Betty" died in 1964 of colon cancer. She had 3 boys and one girl -( only one son survives today), 5 granddaughters, 6 great granddaughters and 3 g.grandsons. I know very little else about these Carbines. Can anyone help me?
