Hi Frankie and Chris,
In response to Frankie's comment regarding Leah Capps: "During her last years she lived with her daughter who married into the Coones family. They lived in northwest Arkansas near Gentry, just north of Siloam Springs. She is buried in a rural cemetery in that area.", Leah was my GGGM. Her daughter, Sarah Naomi Quick, married James A. Coones. The family (and it was a large one ;o)) moved to Bakersfield, CA around the time of the Depression when my grandfather, Arthur Coones, was a teenager. Sarah and James died in 1965 and 1966, respectively. My GF died in 1980.
Just wondering if you ever got the photos you were looking for, Chris? Would love to see them if so.
