Linda,
I notice you, along with Carrie MacKenzie, have done a large amount of work on the Caplinger family.
My grandparents were James B. and Margaret, or Maggie, Caplinger.They spent most of their lives in the Adams County/ Highland County, Ohio area.
My father's name was Cecil, and some of the other siblings were Alton, Roy, Alice, Marie, Floyd, Ernie, and Harold (the only surviving one that I am aware of). Most all of the family is buried at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery in Highland County.
I belieive my great grandfather's name was Jacob Caplinger.
I am wondering if any of these names have come up in your research.
