I was aware that our forebears registered with the Schweigern church, but were not from the area. I have heard faint rumblings that the family came from Switzerland, but I discount that until proven.
I have a Maria Elizabetha (Unknown) as Leonhardt's wife, but those are only secondary resources (books). I have never seen any solid proof of her last name.
I'm so glad you took the time to do this. I would love a copy of your transcription!
