As told to my by my grandmother, Beulah Caplinger of Highland county: my great grandfather, John Wesley Caplinger (b. 1880, d. 10-12-1929) had a sister by the name of Anna Caplinger. Census records for 1880 do not show an "Anna" per se, but a Mary E. A. Caplinger - perhaps the "A" here is for Anna. If this is your Anna, she was born in 1875 to John C. Caplinger (b. Mar 1855) and Rececka Caplinger (b. Oct. 1856). Please let me know if this sounds like her. I'll be happy to share any info I have with you.
