I've just started on my Caplinger descendants...and not getting too far. I'm looking for the parents of Susan/ Susanah Caplinger. What I know is: Susan was born in the late 1780's or early 1790's in VA. (One date I have is 10/17/1794, not sure if right.) According to marriage indexes for VA, she married Absolum Fisher on 4/16/1811 in Pendleton County, VA. Believe she had several children in VA, possibly a Christenia, John, Elizabeth, Sindina, Absolum, Jr., and Adam. The family moved to OH in the early 1800's, possibly around 1820, and believed to have lived in Jackson Twnp., Pickaway Cnty, OH (just below Columbus). Additional children born in OH; George Washington (b. 12/13/1822), Eb (b. 10/13/1825), MaryAnn (b. 7/3/1828), Rubin Dice (b. 9/9/1831), Sidney (b. 3/27/1834), and Susanah (b. 5/7/1837). Any help finding Susan Caplinger's parents in VA so I can go on!
(Also, I do have additional info on the last child born, also named Susanah - born in 1837 in OH - if anybody needs!)
