i am searching for the first born child of my grandparents, rosemary and carl caplinger. they were not married at the time and were forced to give the child up for adoption.
they lived in johnson and marion counties, respectively, and the child was born at st. elizabeth's home for unwed mothers in beech grove, indiana. the time frame would have been somewhere between 1935 and 1939, i think!!
any information would be a blessing!
