John CAPLINGER, b. 1833 in Wilson Co.TN married Mary Isabel Link, b.1850 in Smith Co.,TN. John was the son of Samuel Caplinger and Martha Carter. After the Civil War, he changed his name to John W. CAPLENOR.

Their daughter, Martha Elizabeth Caplenor married Dudley Gatewood Conatser who was son of Tom Conatser and Polly Ann Hines (or Hinds).

I would appreciate any information you might have on the CONATSER family.
