John Caplinger, born: Augusta Co., VA. (now Pendleton Co., WV.), ca. 1791. Married: Catherine Harpole, Wilson Co., TN., 24 July 1812.
Is this John the s/o Johannes (nmn) & Barbara, nee Reager, Caplinger. Or is he the s/o Jacob & Sarah Ann (last name unknown). This Jacob (b. 1749) is the s/o Rev. Johann George Sr. (1719-1773) & Maria Elizabeth, nee Umbenhauer, Keplinger (later changed to Caplinger). Contact: teking@jps.net
