My Father's family are all from Stogursey in Somerset, England. I'm only just starting out on this search so I'll hopefully find something I can link in with soon :)

AFAIK the family have lived in Stogursey (orig. Stoke-de-Courcey) since around the 12th century - so the story goes. the distinguishing feature of the last several generations of the family has been that one child in every generation has carried the name William (I have it as a middle name).

Connor Caple (born. Stephen Peter William Caple, see why I changed it? *grin*)
