Have you had any luck determining parentage of Robert Caples or Nancy Haslup? I am researching the Halup family of Anne Arundel co, MD. William to William to William married to Mary Ann White who is a descendant of Joseph White, the Patriot. William Haslup and Mary Ann White's children's names don't include Nancy; their daughter, Isabella is my greatgreatgrandmother. Isabella married Nimrod Mark and they moved with the railroad to Fauquier Co, VA by the 1870 census. Isabella was born 1818, her father, William Haslup, about 1787. If any of this Haslup info sounds like your family, I can share more information.
